Early voting has begun across Central Florida and voters are heading to the polls in the next two weeks to fill national, state and local posts.

Election 2014 coverage continues with Florida House District 49. The district covers parts of east orlando including the University of Central Florida, Union Park, and Rio Pinar. Community organizer and Democrat Joe Saunders was elected to the post in 2012 and is defending his seat against High School Teacher and Republican Rene “Coach P” Plasencia.

They join 90.7’s Matthew Peddie to talk about education, equality, voter turnout, and their plans for Tallahassee if elected.
