Knee-deep in a pit of filthy, disgusting, putrid, stank, vile mud, swamp-stained, splatter-faced muck-covered volleyball players compete in the annual volleyball war to benefit the March of Dimes Saturday at 7am at 5201 Lee Vista Blvd.
Also if you like a room full of crafty nerdy goodness, go to Big Bang Bazaar Saturday at the Central Florida Fairgrounds 11am-6pm.
Also on Saturday, roll by Park Ave CDs for a free kid-size ice cream from Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream with a purchase of fifteen bucks or more from the classic record store.
Sunday there’s a block party with gear giveaways, football games, dunk tanks, and corn hole all while everyone is drinking freestyle motocross racers are doing back-flips overhead. YES! Admission is not free but there’s music and it’s this Sunday at the Freestyle Motocross Downtown Block Party at Bullitt Bar.
For those with a more refined, and fishy, taste, Saturday there’s a “Rioja Wine & Tapas Escape” at Mitchell’s Fish Market in Winter Park. Sample over 30 wines from Rioja, listen to live Spanish guitar, and sneak some chef-inspired tapas into your purse for later during this walk-around tasting.
And as always, Orlando is wonderful.
