Healthy living and eco-friendly exhibitors, speakers, and presentations; non-profits; fun and games for kids; dog and cat adoptions; restaurant booths; food preparation demonstrations, and live music and entertainment can all be found at the Central Florida Veg Fest Saturday 10 to 6 at Orlando Festival Park at 2911 East Robinson Street in Orlando. Beer, contests, corn hole and live music can all be found a Taptoberfest Saturday noon to 2 at Brass Tap in Mills Park.

Trick-or-treat in a safe, fun environment in which Local businesses and organizations will be handing out candy to little ghouls at Ghouls Night Out Saturday 5 to 8 in Downtown Winter Haven.

And finally, walk through downtown handing out food, water, socks, shoes, blankets, clothes, backpacks, hygiene products out of carts and coolers to homeless people during Operation Feed the Homeless Sunday 5 to 7. Meet at Lake Eola at 5.
