The Good Life Festival brings national musical acts, including the Temptations , gourmet food, fine wine, craft beer and artisan retailers to a stunning Orlando resort venue that attracts over 4,000 guests each year. It takes place at The Magnolia House at Trilogy Orlando. Go to thegoodlifefest.com

Snap Orlando started with an annual event, then it got its own space in Mills 50, now it got its tentacles into several local galleries with the new month-long event You Are Here. Expect exhibitions, lectures, experimental media and workshops at venues all over Orlando. Go to snapyouarehere.com

Winter Park Day Nursery, a provider of affordable, high-quality childcare that supports family diversity, is doing its annual fundraiser called Orange Blossom Jubilee. Expect dinner, auctions, entertainment and local celebrity appearances. Orange Blossom Jubilee is Saturday  6 to 10. Go to winterparkdaynursery.org

Spooky Empire is one of our city’s many annual “cons,” large gatherings of people who all love one topic. This one is for people who love horror movies. Get yourself in front of 200 vendors, pay for celebrity meet and greets, watch a costume contest, and watch people get tattoos right on the exhibit floor, that was my favorite part last year. Spooky Empire runs Saturday and Sunday at the Doubletree Hotel at 5790 Major Boulevard. Go to spookyempire.com

And as always, Orlando is wonderful.
