MMI Development wants to build Fieldstream Village on Lake Underhill Road, with 1,500 apartments, plus shops and restaurants. The proposal includes widening the road, something the county has been planning.

For the last five years, Orange County has ranked as one of the states highest case totals for new HIV infections. But last year, the Florida Department of Health saw a slight slow down in the virus' transmission rate around the county.

The Florida Association of Realtors and Florida Apartment Association filed suit this week against Orange County in state court.

In the wastewater samples from Monday, the highest concentration of virus particles was at the Eastern Water Reclamation Facility on South Alafaya Trail. They more than doubled the previous record set in July.
