For the Day of the Dead, families build altars, decorate graves and remember their loved ones. This year, many are remembering parents, siblings and children who died in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dia de los Muertos may traditionally end after November 2nd, but there is a Dia de los Muertos event on November 3rd, for a cause. The Henao Contemporary Center is hosting a night of immersive artistic installations, themed drinks, and live music. And the proceeds are going to a non-profit that’s sort of a rescue group for pet rescue groups.
