    Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson says it’s possible to help Florida’s senior find affordable housing without costing taxpayers more. Carson spoke Monday at LeadingAge Florida’s annual convention in Orlando. LeadingAge Florida represents more than 250 nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and retirement communities across the state.

    On Monday, the Secretary for Housing and Urban Development, Ben Carson, will visit Orlando to deliver the keynote address at the annual convention for LeadingAge Florida, a nonprofit coalition representing more than 250 nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and retirement communities across the state.Carson is expected to talk about affordable housing policies for seniors, as well as his personal and professional life as a neurosurgeon.
