Orlando Hosts International Soccer Tournament, Copa America


The tournament known to bring together the fiercest international soccer players in competition is kicking off tonight in Santa Clara, California and will make its way to Orlando’s Camping World Stadium tomorrow. Orlando is one of ten cities hosting the tournament which, in its 100th year, is taking place for the first time outside of South America.

Orlando City Soccer Club Face Busy Week


The Orlando City Soccer Club have a packed week – they face DC United tonight in the nation’s capital and host the LA Galaxy at home on Sunday. Blake Bortles Impresses in Jaguars Preseason


Former UCF Quarterback Blake Bortles saw his second NFL preseason game this week with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite a 20 – 19 loss to the Chicago Bears, third-overall pick Blake Bortles impressed on Thursday night. The rookie QB took over for veteran Chad Henne in the second-half. He completed 12 of 17 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown with no turnovers. Bortles performance followed another strong showing in week one against Tampa. The Jaguars staff announced he will be on the bench during the regular season with Henne as starting quarterback. In his final season with UCF Bortles helped propel the Knights to a Fiesta Bowl win.
