Intersection: Incarceration Doesn’t Mean An End To Education, How Stetson University Is Reaching Inmates


The Community Education Project at Stetson University provides a higher-education program at Tomoka Correctional Institution. They recently received a three-year grant of $210,000 through the Laughing Gull Foundation to extend the program. Dr. Pamela Cappas-Toro, co-director of the Community Education Project, joins us to talk about the impact the program has on the incarcerated men and what the grant will do for them.
