Privacy concerns loom as use of body cameras grows


As law enforcement agencies try to build trust with their communities, they’re turning to body cameras. The technology is being trialed in police departments across Florida, including Daytona Beach, the University of Central Florida and the Orlando Police Department. Fans of body cameras say they can help enhance a police department’s transparency. But as 90.7’s Renata Sago reports the technology is so new there are still big questions about how to use it – and its impact on privacy.
