5 Year Old Treated with Medical Marijuana for Epilepsy
• For a long time, Jacel Delgadillo wasn’t sure her son knew who she was. Five-year-old Bruno Stillo began having seizures as a three-month-old infant and soon after was diagnosed with Dravet syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy. Bruno would seize 300 to 400 times a day. The constant epileptic episodes left him unable to walk or talk. All that changed once he started using medical marijuana. Now his seizures are down to once a week and he’s learning to crawl, walk on a treadmill and can even use an iPad.
