Feds Get Teeth To Make Sure Health Care Groups Ready For Disasters

Are hospitals, nursing homes and home health agencies ready for the next disaster? The feds are coming with a new rule. “I think there’s gonna be some hefty fines, and that’s when hospitals will wake up and go on panic mode,” said Eric Alberts, director of emergency preparedness at Orlando Health.
