Arts and Crafts Weekend & Dog Pics with Santa


An Orlando couple is doing an art show featuring twenty years of homemade holiday cards. This sounds so weird and brave I have to go see it on opening night which Saturday starting at 7 at Lil Indies, the bar next to Will’s Pub in the Mills 50 district. The show runs to January 2nd. 75 craftspeople and businesses are getting together in one room for one purpose Saturday: to sell you stuff they either made to sell or bought to re-sell at Holiday Gift Fair at St Luke’s Lutheran Church and School Saturday morning 9 to 2. Halloween Events


All events take place on October 31st: In Windermere, enjoy a hayride, costume parade, trick or treating, storytelling all at 9:45 in the morning at Town Hall in Windermere. In Casselberry, enjoy trick or treating, music, dancing and food starting at dusk at Secret Lake Park in Casselberry. In Thornton Park, enjoy a costume contest, live music, a DJ, burlesque and a photo booth and people partying in Thornton Park. In downtown Orlando, Aloft Hotel is planning a huge Halloween party and you can ride the elevator home afterwards. It’s called Halloween Hotel and it takes place in downtown Orlando. And as always, Orlando is wonderful.
