Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra presents its first Symphony Storytime concert. Perfect for children ages 3-7, the Symphony Storytime Series presents music while teaching about the instrument families and instilling a love of music for your entire family. Each program is brought to life with gorgeous classical music, unforgettable narrators, and beautiful, hand-drawn illustrations. The Symphony Storytime Series is Saturday at 10 and 11:30 at The Plaza Live. Tickets are not free but can you put a price on your child... If it’s third Sundays it must be Pagan Movie Night! Each month, group members suggest pagan movies to watch and discuss while munching on a bring-your-own-dinner dinner. Seating is limited to 15 which in the Pagan numerical calendar indicates mystical horses...and guess what? The film this month is “The Last Unicorn,” the movie from the '80s that made 5-year-old Mark Baratelli cry to the point of hyperventilation. Or was that the jail scene in the Disney version of Robin Hood? Here’s the plot: From a riddle-speaking butterfly, a unicorn learns that she is supposedly the last of her kind, all the others having been herded away by the Red Bull. The unicorn sets out to discover the truth behind the butterfly's words. The film runs Sunday at 6:30 at the First Unitarian Church of Orlando at 1901 East Robinson Street.
