Invisibilia is back! Get a sneak peek of Episode One and join fans across the country by attending 90.7 WMFE’s Listening Party at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at The Iron Yard in downtown Orlando, a new computer training school in Church Street Station’s Exchange Building.
Ours is part of a national listening party coordinated by NPR Generation Listen.
Invisibilia’s hosts tell captivating stories. They go deep and don’t shy away from the juicy stuff, which makes the show perfect for sparking thoughtful conversations. We’ll have a round-the-room discussion after we listen to Episode One.
Flow of the event:
5:30 p.m.: We’ll start at Canvs for a little mix and mingle.
6 p.m.: You’ll get the official tour of Canvs, a coworking space home to 100+ companies working in areas of technology and supportive businesses, and then The Iron Yard, a new computer training school.
6:15-7:30 p.m.: We’ll get our listening party started, with the first episode of the new season of Invisibilia. Then, we’ll discuss the episode and other invisible forces we experience.
It’s all free, but please RSVP.
Tune in on Sundays: We’ll be airing the new season of Invisibilia at 6 p.m. Sundays on 90.7 WMFE. Missed Season 1 or want to listen again? Tune in on June 5 and June 12 respectively to hear previous episodes “How to become Batman” and “Entanglement”! Or hear Season 1 in full by downloading the Invisibilia podcast on iTunes, Android or wherever you get your podcasts.
About the show: Invisibilia (Latin for invisible things) is about the invisible forces that control human behavior – ideas, beliefs, assumptions and emotions. Co-hosted by Lulu Miller, Hanna Rosin and Alix Spiegel, Invisibilia interweaves narrative storytelling with scientific research that will ultimately make you see your own life differently.
