Food, Glorious Food

LOCATION: Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida – 411 Mercy Drive Orlando, Florida 32805
Everyone is invited to put their name in a hat to tell a story. 10 names will be randomly chosen as well as three judges selected from the audience. Stories must be no longer than 5 minutes in length, must be told without notes, and must connect with the story theme. Between stories, magician/emcee Travis Winkler will entertain and astound everyone with his skill and humor. Prizes will be awarded for the best stories.
Please note, $15 donation is for admission only. Seats are not assigned. Tickets will no longer be mailed but will be held at Will Call on the evening of the event. You may also purchase your tickets at the door on Saturday evening.
Food and drinks provided by Second Harvest Food Bank’s Catering For Good Initiative will be available for purchase.
Guest Storyteller: Emily Ellyn
Television chef, culinary educator, and food writer Emily Ellyn is best known as the Retro Rad Chef from Food Network. When she’s not busy writing or finishing her Ph.D. in Food Service Education, you’ll see her cooking up fun at food and spirits events around the world.
Also Meet The Chocolate Genius, Paul Joachim
Known as The Chocolate Genius, Paul Joachim is a classically trained fine-artist and the only speed chocolate sculptor in the world. His unique chocolate art has been seen on CBS’ The Talk, Food Network, A&E, Hallmark Channel along with South Beach Food Network Wine & Food Festival, Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, Miami Herald and internationally in Aruba, China and more.
