StoryCorps Is Coming To Orlando

StoryCorps is coming to Orlando next week to preserve stories of people affected by the Pulse nightclub shooting.
A mobile production team from StoryCorps will be in town March 9th through 11th along with the Family Equality Council to collect stories of survivors, family and friends of the victims, and others whose lives were touched or changed by the tragedy.
StoryCorps founder Dave Issay talked to 90.7’s Matthew Peddie about the goal of the project: to record authentic stories of everyday people telling the truth. Or, as the StoryCorps website explains it, “Our mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world.”
90.7 WMFE will also be collecting stories and hosting a town hall event at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Learn more and sign up to tell your story here.
