Steampunk, Creative City Project and Park Ave Fashion Week
Am I the only one who thought that steampunk went the way of swing dancing and cone bras? Maybe it’s just me because this weekend there’s a huge steampunk show with original steampunk art, clothing, jewelry, Victorian hats, shoes, clothing, and antiques of all kinds called the Steampunk Industrial Show. They want you to go dressed in steampunk fashion so please do? It’s in Renningers Twin Markets in Mount Dora 9-5 Saturday and Sunday.
Creative City Project removes the barriers between art and you. Find yourself immersed in the music of an orchestra, stand next to an Orlando Ballet performance, see visual art come to life before your very eyes and it all takes place in the street! Creative City Arts Project starts at 6 Saturday evening all over downtown Orlando. Get the schedule at creativecityproject.com.
And finally…A 20,000 square foot, air-conditioned tent plopped onto Central Park’s West Meadow a la the old location of New York Fashion Week’s tents in Bryant Park. Inside a full fashion model runway and VIP lounge pulses and pumps with Central Florida’s most influential socialites and trendsetters. Fashion. Fierceness. Fashion. It’s Park Avenue Fashion Week 15 at 150 New York Ave, Winter Park Saturday at 7. Don’t be fashionably late. Go to parkavenuefashionweek.com for details, darling.
And as always #Orlando is wonderful.
