Spotlight: Self-Love Club's Saturday Social

self-love-club

The Self-Love Club is having an open social event this weekend at the Orlando Eye on International Drive.

So, what’s the Self-Love Club?

Yasmin Flasterstein is glad you asked.

Flasterstein is co-founder and executive director of Peer Support Space, which makes peer-led groups like the Self-Love Club possible.

If your next question is “What’s Peer Support Space?,” she’s got that answer, too.

She tells 90.7's Nicole Darden Creston all about this new initiative designed to broaden the palette of options available to Central Floridians who are on a journey toward mental wellness.

Nicole came to Central Florida to attend Rollins College and started working for Orlando’s ABC News Radio affiliate shortly after graduation. She joined Central Florida Public Media in 2010. As a field reporter, news anchor and radio show host in the City Beautiful, she has covered everything from local arts to national elections, from extraordinary hurricanes to historic space flights, from the people and procedures of Florida’s justice system to the changing face of the state’s economy.
