The second annual Mills 50 Madcap is a scavenger hunt, a pub crawl, party taking teams of friends and Individual participants who have no friends to various locations in the Mills50 District to solve puzzles and complete tasks. The fun ends with a big party at Ten 10 Brewing Company with prizes and goody bags. Mills 50 Madcap is Saturday at noon at The Brass Tap.

The Orlando Philharmonic will honor the legacy of the late Marvin Hamlisch in a concert featuring Donna McKechnie from the original Broadway cast of A Chorus Line, Jodi Benson from The Little Mermaid, She was Ariel, and an evening of great live music and song. The Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch is Saturday at 8 at the Bob Carr Theatre.

The Sixth Annual “Vintage Garden Show” will be bursting with spring blooms from vendors from all over the Southeast. There’ll also be a Kid’s Craft Tent, pet portraits and live music. Donna McKechnie will not be there. The Vintage Garden Show Saturday 9 to 5 at Renningers Mount Dora Flea Market.

And finally, and this is my favorite event of the weekend… The Rabbit or Jackalope Taxidermy Class is designed for beginners to learn small mammal taxidermy including the proper skinning and fleshing procedures, how to split, turn and position facial features and more. The Rabbit or Jackalope Taxidermy class is Saturday noon to 7 at Carmines Boutique.
