It’s nearly time for Orlando’s annual two-day performing and interactive arts festival from the Creative City Project, Immerse 2019. Creative City Project’s Cole NeSmith says Immerse started small in 2012, when he asked a handful of his creative friends to come share their various art forms on downtown Orlando’s street corners and empty lots. Whyte Tygers Prepare For Immerse


Husband and wife singer songwriters Jordan Wynn and Heather Lee are the creative force behind the band Whyte Tygers. They perform as a duo, with a full band– and next week they’ll have an orchestra with them as they perform in Immerse in downtown Orlando. Markeith Loyd On Trial


Markeith Loyd is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Sade Dixon in 2016. Loyd is also charged with the murder of Orlando police officer Debra Clayton in 2017. That killing sparking a 9 day manhunt. Loyd is on trial in the first of the two murder cases. Orlando Sentinel courts reporter Monivette Cordeiro joins us to talk about the case and explain the process of picking a jury from a pool of 2000 people.
