Join us on Friday, Dec. 6, at 6:30 p.m. for a StoryCorps listening party featuring recordings of Orange County Library System customers and a panel discussion led by Nicole Darden Creston, host of WMFE’s All Things Considered and the StoryCorps: Orlando podcast.

As National Medal winners, OCLS had StoryCorps in to record the stories of library customers and staff. Hear snippets of those stories that include library memories, sincere discussions on friendship, family and love – not to mention alligator wrangling – at this Listening Party, presented in conjunction with Orange County Regional History Center’s Accidental Historian exhibit.

The evening will include panel discussions with participants and exhibit viewing of Thomas Thorspecken sketches and photographs by the library’s photographer that chronicle the recording days. The Listening Party is presented with the support of WMFE.
