Orlando mural artists will cover the outside of the Sam Flax store in a new mural and you can watch them do it live starting at 10 in the morning on Saturday. The will also be 3D printing, interactive stations, food and drink, music, raffles, free samples, face painting and more.
Hundreds of well-dressed Disney fans clad in vintage crinoline, vests, up do swirl cuts, bowler hats and suspenders and sweat for the fashionably unofficial takeover of Hollywood Studios called Dapper Day at Disney. If you don’t have the required old people garb, show up anyways and take pictures. These people really do it up right and sweat.
Maitland’s Taste of the Town is Saturday noon to 7 and will showcase 20 of Central Florida’s top restaurants at Lake Lily Park in Maitland. Restaurants sell sample sized portions of their best menu offerings, allowing guests opportunities to choose from more than 60 different items… do the math, that’s three items per restaurant, yes!
And finally, The Sanford Jazz Ensemble is calling the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center in historic downtown Sanford home. Under the direction of Dave Weaver, the band will be doing a not free concert on Saturday at the Wayne starting at 3pm. They’ll play a wide array of music from big band classics to original arrangements of jazz, bebop, pop, R&B and funk tunes.
