"Moonlight" Author's Play Heads To Seminole State Stage

seminolestate_marcos-2

A play written by the Academy Award-winning author behind the film “Moonlight” opens at Seminole State College next Friday.

Tarell Alvin McCraney’s “Marcus, or the Secret of Sweet” follows the story of a young man coming to terms with his identity in rural Louisiana, as literal and figurative storm clouds gather.

Seminole State Humanities and Theatre Professor Bobbie Bell is directing the play. He tells 90.7’s Nicole Darden Creston that he puts McCraney’s work among the most esteemed company.
