Over 250 exhibits, workshops, demonstrations by and for people who make anything is coming up at the 4th annual Maker Faire Orlando at the Orlando Science Center Saturday 10 to 7 and Sunday 10 to 5. And no one has to make their lunch: The Daily City’s food trucks will be there making the makers a homemade lunch.

1,600 runners are all preparing for the Track Shack Rock and Run Saturday at 7:30 in Casselberry’s Secret Lake Park. The 5k run will have high energy live music being played along the flat course. Afterwards, there’s a beer garden, prizes and awards, snacks, vendors and more. Go to casselberry.org for more details.

A mac-n-cheese cooking competition between local professional chefs and restaurants called the O-Town Smack-down is Saturday 11 to 4 at Osceola Heritage Park. This family-oriented event will include activities for kids, continuous stage entertainment, vendor booths, and, of course, mac and cheese.

Wills Pub is having an indoor/ outdoor party Sunday to celebrate 20 years of being in business. Expect three stages of Florida bands, a Beer Tasting of Florida Beers and a bar full of Florida people. The whole event starts at 2 on Sunday at Wills Pub.

And as always, #Orlando is wonderful.
