A day-long celebration of books! Go for the bestselling author book signings, stay for the panel discussions, and writing workshops! Rick Yancey, author of “The 5th Wave,” will kick off the day with a keynote address at LIBCON Saturday at 10 at the Orlando Public Library. #hot nerds.

Folks who love zines and the folks who make zines who love zines will love loving zines together at Orlando Zine Fest Saturday and Sunday starting at 5 at The Space Station at 2539 Coolidge Avenue.

Inspired by the Walker Stalkers Podcast with James & Eric, there’s a zombie, horror and sci-fi convention and meetup for fans of the Walking Dead TV series. Meet stars from the Walking Dead, Lost, Gotham and other shows at Walker Stalker Con Saturday and Sunday at the Orange County Convention Center.

Vegan cooking, raw food preparation, gluten free and plant based diets are the subjects to be discussed by Mark Reinfeld during his 2 day course Saturday and Sunday at 11am at the East End Market in the Audubon Park Garden District.

Ashley Brown, Broadway’s original Mary Poppins does a one-night-only performance of songs in a solo show called Practically Perfect Saturday at 7 at the Orlando Repertory Theatre at 1001 E. Princeton Street.
