Grab N Go Art Show, Grandma Party and More

Twenty of Orlando’s top visual artists each have a piece of art for sale at $100 or less at the “Grab N Go Art Show” at Art Services Ink tonight at 7 in Orlando.

The once a year creative cacophony of vintage, jewelry, sculpture, art, handmade, paper goods and more aka Grandma Party is back  Sunday 10 to 6 in the Stardust Coffee parking lot.

​If you like pop culture references sewn onto t-shirts, oven mitts and bottle cap earrings, go to Big Bang Bazaar 11 to 6 this Saturday and Sunday at the Maitland Civic Center.​

Sing nerd songs with other nerds and perhaps be crowned king karaoke nerd at Nerd Karaoke tonight at 9​ at the GeekEasy in Orlando.

The 21st Annual Teddy Bear Brunch includes a visit with St Nick, treats, music and takes place​ Saturday 10 to 12 at the Museum of Art in Deland.

See hundreds of men and women dressed like Santa Claus play games, win prizes and potentially drink their faces off Saturday 12 to 5 in the Thornton Park district near downtown Orlando.

And finally, the Sanford Christmas Parade with its bands, floats and Santa rolls through downtown Sanford Saturday at 6.

Bill joined WMFE in September 2008. He started his radio career at WFCS at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain Connecticut where he hosted a weekly comedy/variety show and gospel and blues programs. Bill then spent 10 years at WNPR in Hartford, Connecticut, where he worked in radio operations and hosted the evening classical music. During this time he also spent two years working overnights and weekends at WTIC 1080 News in Hartford were he anchored the local newscasts, filed stories for CBS radio and prepared news stories for the morning drive.

Bill lives in Deltona and enjoys travel, motorcycling, restaurants and live music.
