Swan Lake, orlandoballet.org

The first ever Orlando Music History Merch Swap will offer bits and pieces, slips and snatches, clutches and gaggles of local band memorabilia for sale like recordings, promo swag and more. Live entertainment and hard, hard liquor will accompany your musical shopping experience. The Orlando Music History Merch Swap is Saturday evening 8 to 11 at Lil Indies next door to Wills Pub next to that wack-a-doodle mural of the pan monster holding the beer.

Don’t tell me parking is a nightmare when I tell you to go to Orlando Ballet’s latest production of Swan Lake at the… Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Yes it’s downtown and not in a shopping plaza dripping with 400 free parking spaces like every other moment of your Orlando life. Get over it. Pay to park, walk some blocks or four and go see the dancing ladies tippy two around the giant stage and die in Orlando Ballets Swan Lake all weekend. For times go to OrlandoBallet.org. For parking, I don’t know. It’s terrible down there.

If you’d rather have your swans plucked raw and letting their giblets hang out, then head to the latest installment of Blue’s Burlesque Series featuring Corsets and Cuties tonight at nine at the venue called the venue at 511 Virginia drive.

And finally, the Orlando Science Center is doing SkyWatch, a star watching experience tonight and Saturday 5 to 9 at the Orlando science center in the park with no lochs, Loch Haven Park. At least they have the decency to provide parking.

And as always, Orlando is wonderful.
