Officials confirm the new COVID-19 variant in Central Florida

Six cases of the new COVID-19 variant were confirmed in Seminole County. The variant is not more lethal or dangerous, but it is more infectious and spreads more easily. It is also not resistant to the new vaccines but cloth and paper masks will no longer do - the CDC is suggesting N95 and surgical masks.
