CDC says Florida Adult Fitness Levels are low Compared With the National Average
Florida falls slightly below the national average when it comes to physical fitness. That’s according to a new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study.

Displaced Puerto Rican Families Protest for Three Days in Tent City at Sunshine Summit
With temperatures in the 90s displaced Puerto Rican families and their advocates continued to protest in the makeshift tent city for a third day. They are calling for emergency funding as FEMA’s temporary shelter assistance ends tomorrow.

The Supreme Court upheld the Trump administration’s travel ban that restricts entry to travelers from five Muslim majority countries. The White House says its immigration policies are designed to shore up national security, but opponents of the ban say it’s discriminatory and dangerous.
