Spotlight: Cheddar’s

Ive been avoiding Cheddars, the Texas based chain, ever since they entered the Central Florida market a few years ago. There were plenty of smaller, locally owned restaurants to to visit. Then, in March, Darden Restaurants announced that it was buying Cheddars. And so I felt a certain duty to be familiar with the latest addition to the hometown megafeeders portfolio. Intersection: Greenwood Cemetery’s Confederate Section

Last March a cannon that had stood outside the former Robert E. Lee Middle School was moved to Greenwood Cemetery. Now the cemetery might be getting a confederate monument to go with it. We visit a corner of Greenwood that honors the Civil War dead from the Confederate army and talk to Sexton Don Price about the history of the cemetery.
