Orange County Attempts to Lower Juvenile Arrests Through Civil Citations
After recent data from the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice revealed Orange County continues to lead the state in juvenile arrests, local law enforcement agencies are planning to replace handcuffs with civil citations for minors with nonviolent offenses.

Florida Driver Licenses Could Mean Automatic Voter Registration
Florida State Senator Jeff Clemens is hoping to encourage more voter participation by making it easier to register. The Lake Worth Democrat’s new bill would make a driver license or state ID application, and changes of address, automatically serve as voter registration.
