UCF Campus Back To Normal After Library Evacuation
University of Central Florida police say there was no threat found in the John C. Hitt Library on campus this afternoon. Police evacuated the library earlier after receiving a report via social media of a possible gunwoman in the library. Officers evacuated the library and warned students nearby to stay away from the area.

Maitland Fires City Manager

Residents, scientists and business owners along the Indian River Lagoon are wondering whether it has reached a tipping point after this spring's stunning fish kill, the worst in modern history.
The 156-mile lagoon stretches nearly half the length of Florida's east coast and is considered the most biologically diverse estuary in North America.
