Medical Tech Company Moves Headquarters from NYC to Orlando
A new medical tech company called SMRxT is packing up and leaving the Big Apple for the City Beautiful. 90.7’s Renata Sago reports, it will join what central Florida business experts call a small wave of tech companies relocating their headquarters to the area.

UCF To Vote On Downtown Orlando Campus Limitations In Wake Of Governor’s Veto
Governor Rick Scott vetoed money for a downtown Orlando campus this yea, and now UCF’s board will vote on a memo this week outlining four promises for the downtown campus, sent directly to the governor’s office.

A lot of vegans — and plenty of people who just like good, creative food regardless of the central protein — mourned the loss of Cafe 118. Perhaps not enough to have kept the raw-food restaurant in business, but that’s another matter.
If those folks want a second chance to support a vegan restaurant on Park Avenue, or really close to it, they can get behind Daya. Not necessarily a raw food concept, Daya’s menu is totally plant-based.

Demand Grows For Orlando Food Assistance Program
Orlando may be the most popular tourist destination in the US, but it has a long way to go to address hunger, homelessness and poverty. Eric Gray, executive director of the Community Food and Outreach Center, is working to try and move people above the poverty line.
