Film Industry Leaders Push For Incentives

Film industry leaders are making another push to get an incentives deal through the Florida legislature. Theyre banking on its inclusion in a tax package when lawmakers return to Tallahassee for a special session next week.

Memorial Day Events In Central Florida Honor The Fallen

People are honoring military men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country at Memorial Day ceremonies throughout Central Florida Monday. Orange Countys annual War Memorial Commemoration Ceremony starts at 10 a.m. at the Orange County Courthouse. County Spokeswoman Doreen Overstreet says this years ceremony focuses on the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War.

Spotlight: Two Chefs Seafood & Oyster Bar

Its an odd location, Ill grant you that. Two Chefs Seafood & Oyster Bar, the very good new restaurant, occupies a space in a small office building in Orlandos North Quarter district. Actually, it occupies several spaces. There is the main dining area next to the open kitchen, a bar located across the way from the main room and an upstairs dining room for private dining and spillover that overlooks the bar area, accessible through the waiting room of a doctors practice.
