YMCA Gets $1.7M Grant For Pilot Health Program
The Central Florida YMCA got a $1.7 million grant today from the UnitedHealth Foundation. It will fund a three-year pilot program called HealthierLifeRX.

Universal Orlando Opening Volcano Bay Water Park in 2017
Universal Orlando revealed it’s building an on-site water theme park called Volcano Bay. The company says it will immerse visitors in picture-perfect tropical islands surrounding a massive volcano with innovative attractions and places to relax.

OCPS Rolls Out Software to Monitor Student & Staff Social Media
The next time students at Orange County public schools post something on their Facebook page, special software will determine whether they could be a threat. As 90.7’s Renata Sago reports, district officials announced today they’re using software to prevent cyberbullying, suicides, and school shootings.

Cobra’s Curse Coaster Opening Next Year At Busch Gardens
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment had its second big announcement of the week. Wednesday we heard about Mako, a shark-themed coaster coming to Orlando. Thursday, SeaWorld announced a spinning family coaster, Cobra’s Curse, for its Busch Gardens, Tampa park.
