Orlando Vying To Host Copa America Soccer Tournament
Orlando competing with 24 other cities to host the Copa America soccer tournament next year. Two of Orlando’s biggest competitors are Tampa and Jacksonville, said Central Florida Sports Commission CEO John Bisignano.

Researchers Identify Where Oceans Warm Less Rapidly, Call For Conservation
Researchers at the Florida Institute of Technology have identified 12 locations where they say the oceans are warming less rapidly.
They say the locations could serve as sanctuaries for declining coral and other marine species.
