Verizon “supercookies” eat away at consumer privacy rights, lawmakers say
The way Verizon tracks its Internet users has lawmakers concerned about threats to consumer privacy. Florida U.S. Senator Bill Nelson and members of the Senate Commerce Committee want to pass legislation to protect customers from tracking tools that companies use to sell ads. 90.7’s Renata Sago filed this report.
