Two children die from the flu, including one in Orange County
An Orange county child is one of two Florida children to have died this year because of the flu, state health officials said Monday.

FSU student paralyzed in last week’s shooting improving
The condition of a Florida State University student critically wounded in last week’s shooting is improving, but his family says he is paralyzed from the waist down. Farhan “Ronny” Ahmed, from Apopka, was shot three times, including once in the spine.

New State Commission Seeks Equal Access to Civil Justice
