Worries over COVID-19 and the slower pace of U.S. economic growth triggered a sharp selloff in U.S. stock markets and interest rates dropped to near record lows, as investors sold stock and purchased safer U.S. treasuries.  Economic analyst Hank Fishkind tells 90.7’s Matthew Peddie that it’s a serious trend for the US and for the Central Florida economy, because of its structure and dependence on tourism.
