EVENT POSTPONED: As Central Florida addresses the concerns around Coronavirus (COVID-19), we here at WMFE are also taking a thoughtful look at our commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for our audience and employees.

Out of an abundance of caution and in line with current recommendations to minimize large gatherings, we have decided to postpone tonight’s Capitol Steps event.

We are working with the group and the venue to reschedule the show, and will provide details as soon as we can.

Of course, we’ll keep you up to date on the latest information regarding the virus on air and a designated webpage at wmfe.org/coronavirus

In the meantime, follow best practices: wash your hands, don’t touch your face, and practice some self-care if you need a break – we have the stories to help you do just that.

If you have questions, please contact Member Services at 407-514-1750 or wmfe@wmfe.org.

Thank you for being a part of the WMFE community.

Best wishes,

Erika Pulley-Hayes

The Capitol Steps, the Washington D.C.-based comedy troupe that began as a group of Senate staffers, will be back in Central Florida with an ALL-NEW SHOW just days before Florida’s primary election. Join us at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at Trinity Preparatory School in Winter Park. The sooner you get your tickets, the better your seats will be. Get them now!

What better time to see the Capitol Steps, the group that put the “mock” in “democracy,” than in a presidential election season? Don’t miss songs about the Democratic primary candidates and the newest late-night thoughts from President Trump. Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican (or somewhere in-between), you can bet the Capitol Steps will tackle both sides of the political spectrum and all things equally foolish.

If you need a disability-related accommodation or wheelchair access information, please contact Member Services at 407-514-1750 or wmfe@wmfe.org. Requests should be made by Feb. 27.

Where do I park? Here’s a map of Trinity Preparatory School. There are two parking lots adjacent to the theater, and overflow lot to the north.

How is seating determined? It is first-come, first-served reserved seating in Trinity Preparatory School.

When will I get my tickets? Tickets purchased through Friday, March 6, were mailed to the address provided. If you got your tickets after Friday, March 6, please pick them up at will call at the event on March 12.

How do I give these tickets as a gift? We can email you a gift certificate for your recipients – Just email wmfe@wmfe.org with Capitol Steps in the subject line or call 407-514-1750. (Note: The certificate is not a ticket. Your tickets will mail in February 2020).

How do I contact the WMFE Member Services? Either via phone at 407-514-1750 (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) or by email: wmfe@wmfe.org.
