Arts and Crafts Weekend & Dog Pics with Santa
An Orlando couple is doing an art show featuring twenty years of homemade holiday cards. This sounds so weird and brave I have to go see it on opening night which Saturday starting at 7 at Lil Indies, the bar next to Will’s Pub in the Mills 50 district. The show runs to January 2nd.
75 craftspeople and businesses are getting together in one room for one purpose Saturday: to sell you stuff they either made to sell or bought to re-sell at Holiday Gift Fair at St Luke’s Lutheran Church and School Saturday morning 9 to 2.
While pot isn’t legal yet, pottery is! Oh leaf me alone! The Orlando Pottery Festival, the perfect gift for any millennial or Grandma, is Saturday 9 to 5 at the Downtown Recreation Center Go to orlandopotteryfestival.org for info.
And finally, Santa is taking pictures with doggies Saturday 2 to 5 at Aloft Hotel for free. This hotel, if you remember, has the best front porch to lounge with coffee or booze that no one knows about yet. So after the pet pics, relax on their secret porch, fall asleep and dream of candy canes, dollies and the wondrous sounds, smells, sights and sounds, of the holidays.
And as always #Orlando is wonderful.
