Aerospace Contractors Fight For Back Pay

The shutdown ended a week ago, but the impact is still being felt by federal workers and contractors who are waiting on back pay.

Among the contractors affected in Central Florida are aerospace workers in the space industry.

To find out what’s next for those contractors we caught up with Kevin DiMico, the business representative with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He says they’re hoping legislation filed by US representatives Chris Smith, a Republican from New Jersey, and fellow New Jersian Donald Norcross, a Democrat, can help those contractors get paid.
