The Orlando Fringe Festival loves the show called God is a Scottish Drag Queen. Funny title and I admit I’ve never seen any of the multiple times the Orlando Fringe has brought it back to Orlando for special events, fundraisers, wedding showers the opening of a door.... I mean if they bring it back so much, it must be good. Or the actor in this one man show is gig-less and needs the cash. Either way, God is a Scottish Drag Queen, a very popular one man show comedy plays Saturday at 8 at the Plaza in the milk district. For details go to this website: mikedelamont.com

Our state's top food and farming entrepreneurs, policy makers, chefs, foodies and local food fans will be coming together this weekend for the 3rd annual Florida Local Food Summit. On Saturday kids seven to twelve are invited to a reading of “Show me the Green,” a book about two young friends vying to win their Farmers Market’s Best garden Contest. There’ll be a seed-packing hands-on craft to make and lemonade to sip. The event is free and takes place at The Lovely Boutique in Audubon Park Saturday at 11.

And finally, Orlando Museum of Art is hosting an open and free to the public sugar skull making gathering Saturday 11 to 1. Each skull guests decorate will become part of a large Dia de los Muertos installation at the Chicago National Museum of Mexican Art’s 30th annual Dia de los Muertos exhibition.
