The bear hunt is over but not the controversy surrounding it. After just two days hunters got close to the target number of bears and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officials shut the hunt down. So what happens next? If the hunt continues next year should changes be made to how it’s run?

Then George O’Leary abruptly ends his storied career with the University of Central Florida’s football program but not in the winning style he would have wanted. And what about the terms of his contract? What’s the measure of a coach’s worth to a public university? UCF says from here on out it will make coaching contracts public. Was that a good move?

And Floridians Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush mixed it up in the third GOP presidential primary debate Wednesday night. Rubio and other candidates sparred with the moderators too, slamming them for what they said was biased questioning. Pundits gave Jeb poor marks in this debate outing so can he recover? And what does Marco Rubio do now to capitalize on a strong debate performance?
