30 sports team's mascots from across the country compete against each other in Gladiator-like games with all the proceeds benefiting New Hope For Kids!  The Mascot Games, Friday and Saturday at the Amway Center

Ira Glass,NPR God and host/creator of This American Life is in Orlando for a public talk Saturday at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando.

Are you down for cultural performances, food, music and an authentic African pre-wedding celebration called a kwe kwe? If so then okay, kay! The Caribbean American Heritage Month Festival is Saturday starting at noon at Lake Eola Park.

What happens in a zoo after dark? A nocturnal adventure, a guided flashlight tour, the sights, sounds and smells of the zoo at night await guests at Night Hike at the Zoo Saturday at 7:30 at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens at 3755 N. U.S. Highway 17-92 Sanford.

A Purple Masked ball benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Mid Florida Chapter is happening at the L’Gouthro Bal Violet. It’s a classy event with high ticket prices and fun masked theme is happening Saturday at The Abbey at 100 South Eola Drive.
