Sharks might be on your mind this Memorial Day if you're heading to the ocean. New Smyrna Beach has been called the "Shark Bite Capital of the World."

Debbie Salamone is a Central Florida shark advocate and shark bite survivor.

She talked with 90.7's Amy Green.

Amy Green covered the environment for WMFE until 2023. Her work included the 2020 podcast DRAINED.
