SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket Monday night carrying Turkmenistan’s first communications satellite. Turkmenistan is located in central Asia.

The launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station happened at 7:03 p.m., just under an hour after the launch window opened up. The delay was because of weather concerns.
