Fund Spot America and Gatorland are joining forces on a new alligator themed attraction.

The $1 million venture is being built on International Drive – the heart of Orlando’s tourism district. The group breaks ground on Tuesday.

The new attraction will showcase alligators and reptiles in a 15,000 square foot space.

Started in 1949, Gatorland is one of Florida’s oldest tourist attractions.

Fun Spot is Central Florida’s largest privately-held tourism venture.
