The premier trade show for the amusement park industry is expected to bring about 28,000 people to Orlando this week.

It's taking place at the Orange County Convention Center.

The annual trade show is the place to go for what's new in amusement park attractions.

Colleen Mangone is spokeswoman for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, which organizes the show.

"When you step on the trade show floor it's the sights, the sounds and the smells that you would experience at an amusement park, family fun center, even zoos and aquariums. There's something for everyone here. It's like a mini-amusement park right here on the trade show floor."

Here you can find everything from roller coaster rides to ideas for landscaping and ticketing.

The trade show concludes Friday.

Amy Green covered the environment for WMFE until 2023. Her work included the 2020 podcast DRAINED.
